Acqua di Parma Blu Mediterraneo Mandorlo di Sicilia Reviews

Fragrantica - "Fluffy, delectable, playful, alluring, sophisticated comfort. To simply call it vanilla or a root beer float would be to undermine its expertly crafted balance of depth and levity. The notes are blended flawlessly and none stand out as more prominent than any others. I detect no spearmint or bubblegum, only an ethereally creamy concoction that continuously lures me in for another taste."

Basenotes  - "The blend has an almondy main accord masterfully mixed with one of the most natural smelling vanilla aromas. The scent of the said duo sometimes might be described as a smell of marzipan and sometimes as of vanilla custard. Besides the mentioned accord, there are also other toning and smoothing notes at play: vanilla, anise, peach, ylang-ylang. All these notes beautifully and in harmony build up and upon the main accord. In the base, the smell becomes slightly musky and floral. Great gourmand and an extremely charming scent tailored for warmer seasons."

Basenotes - "As other reviewers have already mentioned, it smells just like a root-beer float. But it's quality juice, so it completely avoids that whole Bath and Body Works body-mist vibe. And it's pretty sweet, but fizzy like a root-beer, so it stays fresh thanks to the anise and orange and jasmine notes that comprise it. There's really not much to break down here, the opening 15 minutes and the stuff I spray on my clothes smells like a delicious root-beer float and as it dries down a rich vanilla ice cream begins to dominate, retaining some of the spice from the root-beer. This is unisex, unless you're only into "traditional" styles of masculines, which clearly, this is not. I just doused myself in Mandorlo with about 10 sprays and a couple hours later I'm sitting very comfortably, so it has a light, moderate weight to it. Projection is good, but not heavy. Longevity seems fine. This is a fun scent, but one that I can also see myself wearing quite often, as it doesn't get annoying as gourmands often can. I think that's because it's infused with fresher, uplifting elements. As a fan of gourmands, I'm really happy to have this."
