Alkemia A Roll in the Hay was created by Sharra Lamoureaux and is described as "A delightful romp through dried hay, fresh green grass, early summer wildflower honey, vanilla grass, vanilla leaf, and wild poppy."
From the brand:
"I wonder if the wind scythes a path through my garden's wild grass so someone can come to visit?" - Izumi Shikibu (976 A.D.)
This is the alcohol-free spray. It is also free of parabens, phthalates, PDGs and other unpleasant things. Alkemia is a hand-blended and small batch perfumery using natural essences, ethically rendered accords, and lab-created aroma molecules.
Reddit - "I LOVE smelling like this hay specifically. It's not any old hay in the fall, but the kind you idealize! It's softly sweet and tickles the back of your nose, it's like you jumped back first into the tallest field of drying autumn grass and someone in flannel comes on top to give you a hug."
Fragrantica - "This smells so lovely and comforting. It's all hay, vanilla, and honey on me so I immediately feel like I'm back on my grandparents farm, climbing hay bales in the summer. I wear it in my hair and it lasts a long time there! I don't really get any poppy or green grass, but I'm happy with how this works on me."
Fragrantica - "If I could bathe in this stuff I would. This might be the single most comforting scent I have ever laid my nose on in my life. It feels sunny, warm, yet better suited to warm weather than cool. "
Indie Scent Library - "This is a sweet, grassy and hay scent. The grass smells lush and long (i.e., not freshly cut) and the hay smells clean. The summer wildflower honey lends a bit of sweetness to the scent, but it’s not overwhelmingly sweet. It’s a nice perfume to bring to mind laying on tall summer grass, smelling sun-baked hay."
Indie Scent Library - "The warm smell of kitten tummies. Milky, sweet, almondy and warm There is something absolutely irresistible about this scent, comforting."
