Autumnalis is a beautiful fall fragrance featuring notes of amber, fallen leaves, maple wood, saffron crocus, vetiver and oakmoss. This is a perfume.
This is the alcohol free perfume, not an oil. It is also free of parabens, phthalates, PDGs and other unpleasant things. Alkemia is hand-blended and small batch perfumery using natural essences, ethically rendered accords, and lab-created aroma molecules.
Fragrantica: Crisp, dry woody notes with a sweet, almost syrup like dry down from the maple. It is very clearly unisex (though I don't believe fragrances have 'genders' anyway) - not too sweet or spicy. Perfect for autumn when the weather is bright but cold and crisp, with the first hints of frost on the air.
Fragrantica: Interesting scent. When I smelled it without seeing the notes and the description, it did not remind me of a forest, but I thought about an autumn landscape after rain. And yes, it can be an autumn forest scent with dried leaves everywhere, but not in full sunlight, rather a colder autumn day after a big rain.
Fragrantica: Ambery, leafy, sweet, and a little bit foresty. Definitely makes me think of Fall. A daily wear pick for my Fall seasonal rotation.
