Nocturne of the Wharves is a moody sea-green fougère of verbena, oceanic winds, marine lichens, sisal ship ropes, vetiver root, green patchouli, oakmoss and lightly charred agarwood. It is a perfume.
This is the alcohol free perfume, not an oil. It is also free of parabens, phthalates, PDGs and other unpleasant things. Alkemia is hand-blended and small batch perfumery using natural essences, ethically rendered accords, and lab-created aroma molecules.
Alkemia: "I loved this one instantly when I tried it out of the bottle and even more so on my skin. So lovely, almost a bit gritty like ocean rocks. I just picture a beached shipwreck pummeled by salty waves, the scent of sun bleached wood, and tattered canvas sails. I guess I could describe this scent as ghost ship-y. Mysterious and wild but romantic. One of my top Alkemia scents!"
