Alkemia Novella was created by Sharra Lamoureaux and is described as "A cozy afternoon of curled up in a favorite chair - delicately spiced lavender de provence, steaming Earl Gray tea, and tattered old paperback books."
From the brand:
“Once we read Tennyson aloud
In our great fireside chair;
Between the lines, my lips could touch
Her April-scented hair.
How very fond I was, to think
The printed poems fair,
When close within my arms I held
A living lyric there!"

Reddit - "Novella seemed so hard to pull off! But I was also a believer already: I applied it on a stressful day when I needed a comforting scent. It delivered. It’s the most comforting scent I own, and it smells amazing. Black tea, decidedly provençale lavender, a touch of bergamot, and that really is the scent of old paperback books – the very specific sweet musty note. They’re all clear enough to pick out on the skin, but they also blend together into a lovely, wearable perfume that’s more femme than expected. It isn’t heavy (fainter than some others) but with good sillage somehow – I caught whiffs of it easily, and I apply lightly. Great for: people who love comforting scents, book lovers, and retired starship captains."
Reddit - "Smells just like curling up with a good book and cup of tea. As atmosphere goes, this one is right on the nose. A great fragrance for bookworms everywhere who would like an aromatic reminder of their happy place."
