Alkemia Winter Sanctuary Oil was launched in 2018, created by Sharra Lamoureaux and has notes of creamy skin musks, spiced eggnog, Feuille de Vanille, ginger mint, French lavender, dried Somali rose.
From the brand: "The velvety warmth of a fireside cuddle - creamy skin musks and slightly boozy spiced eggnog wrapped in a sensual blanket of Feuille de Vanille with delicate kisses of ginger mint, French lavender, and dried Somali rose petals."
This is the oil. It is also free of parabens, phthalates, PDGs and other unpleasant things. Alkemia is a hand-blended and small batch perfumery using natural essences, ethically rendered accords, and lab-created aroma molecules.
Alkemia - "It really is like a gourmet cup of eggnog. Creamy cinnamon with a hug in bed. Not an every day scent for me but perfect when it's cold and you're stuck inside."
Alkemia - "This embodies all it’s meant to, and yet could still be worn outside winter, as it’s just so scrumptious. I find that the musks and dried florals sit in perfect balance with the dry yet decadent vanilla. I think maybe it is the fragrance’s perfect balance and harmony that lets it rise to such olfactory heights. I hope it either becomes permanent or is a recurring seasonal fixture."
Alkemia - "This is a lovely warm and cozy fragrance. It starts very heavy on the sweet notes of eggnog, vanilla and spices. As that mellows, the lavender, rose and skin musk comes in. "
