Armani Prive Bois d'Encens is a unisex amber woody fragrance. It was launched in 2004. Mr. Armani's personal signature scent. An Oriental woody fragrance with notes of incense, vetiver and cedar. Bois d'Encens is an eau de parfum, EDP, created by Michel Almairac and was a Fifi award winner.

A rush of soft, green almost lemony scent precedes a transition to a curry-like aroma with an oily undercurrent, probably from something in the spice mixture. Within an hour it changes again to an incense similar to Cardinal with the balsamic background of Kyoto. Lasts longer on moisturized skin. Lovely.

Smoke, incense, evergreen branches just snapped under heavy snow, warm ashes. Depth of scente, perfect for winter, and dries down very soft.
I average my ratings for the scent: 5 and for the price: 1 and that's how I got 3 stars. I don't even want to wax lyrical about this perfume because it's so overpriced.
