Not sure what to make of this one
This is not a floral in the strictest sense, so don't go into this thinking you'll get magnolia. You'll get a citrus fragrance, with some magnolia. But it's not bad.
Atelier Cologne Sud Magnolia is part of the Collection Azur which was created to celebrate the 5th anniversary of the company. It features top notes of Seville bitter orange, Florida pomelo and Burgundy blackcurrant; middle notes of Louisiana magnolia; Bulgarian rose absolue and Indian saffron flower; and base notes of Moroccan Atlas cedarwood, New Caledonia sandalwood and musk. Sud Magnolia is a cologne absolue concentrated at 15%.
Fragrantica: "This smells exactly like Casablanca at dusk time in the summer. So rich and flowery. "
Fragrantica: "In this world of shock and ah I quite love this fragrance as it brings the classiness of days gone by back. It opens with tart citrus. The dry down brings in the magnolia and oh so soft smoke. If I am not thinking about it I catch notes of rose, although this is not your granny's rose. This is old fashioned roses on a bush in the breeze on a warm summer day. They type of roses that slightly perfume your laundry you have out on the line."
Fragrantica: "Bright citrusy magnolia/rose opening. Light and energizing but feminine; this is like cologne for women. The citrus is zingy, the florals delicate and lovely."
