From the brand -
"Rouge Sarây translates the romantic imaginings of adventures and tales on the ancient trade routes that traversed the Middle East. These journeys are kept alive today through the vitality of alluring spices and scents. Long considered a potent symbol of abundance and hospitality, Rouge Sarây sublimates the date and its fruity and fleshy aromas. Intensity and conviviality are enhanced with temptingly sweet vanilla and heliotrope. A darkly romantic fragrance, Rouge Sarây is enveloped by sensual sandalwood. The smoky tonalities of guaiac wood magnify an ambered temperament. An intensely addictive fragrance, Rouge Sarây captures the feeling of exquisite indulgence and shared moments of hospitality at the caravanserai, under sheltering desert skies."
Atelier des Ors was created out of a desire to create differently and to express a personal vision of French haute parfumerie. To create a fragrance dedicated to precious essences and the most exclusive and fascinating raw material. The gold flakes that are in each of the fragrances is a gilded caress that mingles with the rare essences. Its spiritual and symbolic dimension is an integral part of their fragrances. The nose behind all of the fragrances is Marie Salamagne.
Fragrantica - "You can definitely detect the plum, date, jasmine and patchouli note in this fragrance, it smells amazing in the air, I got 6-7 hours longevity with moderate projection, am looking for a backup bottle for this gem, love the christmas vibe in the bottle, especially in the cold weather night. I gave Rouge Sarây is 9.75/10"
Fragrantica - "It opens with a bold sweet burst of sugary dates paired with rich, heavy oud. Initially, I found it quite intense when I tried it in the shop (thanks to a persuasive employee), but after about half an hour, the scent on my wrist transformed completely. The dates mellowed into this incredibly creamy, refined aroma. It’s such a unique fragrance, and I instantly fell in love with it. Plus, it's long-lasting and absolutely perfect for colder weather."
Fragrantica - "I think Atelier des Ors is a great fragrance house. I've liked every one of their scents I've tried, especially Larmes du Desert. I like everything about this scent that I liked about Tom Ford "Plum Japonais" which is discontinued and in the hands of eBay scalpers wanting $750 a bottle. This has got that same rich, dark fruitiness without being cloyingly sweet, and the balsam gives it an almost incense-like touch that I love. I think it's dead center unisex, not feminine, and any guy can wear this. acceptable EDP potency (makes it to lunch). Completely inoffensive for car pool, elevator and small office wear. I think a good date scent also. Definitely a keeper."
Fragrantica - "Mmm! This is so sexy and delicious! The dry down is where it sold me. I need a bottle! It reminds me of kayali sugared patchouli but done way better. Smoother. I get a clean patchouli, guaiac wood, cinnamon and some indiscernible sweetness."
Fragrantica - "Plums, dates, delicious smokiness… Rouge Saray is a moderately sweet, creamy, rich intoxicating and elegant scent. I love wearing it in colder weather. It’s luxurious and a touch spicy. I detect almost like a sweet tobacco in it, which is not something I normally gravitate toward. However, in this particular instance, all of the notes are beautifully blended and the result is incredibly sophisticated. "
Fragrantica - "It’s not an uber gourmand but it’s definitely for gourmand collectors. The slight almondy smelling of heliotrope takes you there, on a base of super creamy Peru Balsam and Sandalwood. Rich and beautiful I feel like spraying it over and over again. On my top 5 gourmands!"
Fragrantica - "Intoxicating and Luxurious. Unique and well blended. Excellent on its own but Pairs well with Khamrah by Lattafa. My favorite from Atelier des Ors followed by Lune Feline 100/10"
Fragrantica - "It's sublime: when you spray it, it's like opening a box of chocolates with cherries/plums/dates with cognac. The aroma is fruity, woody (reminiscent of Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille), powdery and intoxicatingly boozy (cognac/rum as in Penhaligons Halfeti Cedar and not the practically absent cognac as in Kilian Angels’ Share). A 10+ oriental fragrance. Exceeded my expectations."
