By Kilian Angels Share Paradis was launched in 2025, a twist on the best-selling By Kilian Angels Share. Created by Benoist Lapouza, it has notes of cognac, liquor, raspberry, tonka bean, Bulgarian rose, oakmoss, praline, oak and sandalwood.
The Angel's Share (la part des anges) is the part of the wine that evaporates from the barrel of wine in the aging process - that's the part the angels take, like an offering to the gods. From the brand - "Angels' Share Paradis by Kilian is an intense Extrait de Parfum inspired by the finest aged oak-barrel cognac. It captures the Maison’s savoir-faire and Kilian Hennessy’s legacy with a daring intensity. The fragrance features tantalizing raspberry liquor and exquisite Bulgarian Rose Oil Orpur, blended with a lavish dose of Praline Accord and warm amber notes of Venezuelan Tonka Bean Absolut, leaving a captivating, sensual trail."
Fragrantica - "Smells like the original but more powerful, with a beautiful note of raspberry"
Fragrantica - "I surprisingly find this better than the original. I can really smell the raspberry and liquor and thankfully I can’t smell much of the rose (as I hate rose notes in fragrances), and it ends up being delicious! "
Fragrantica - "The raspberry is like raspberry liquor, not like a jam, not as fresh as Cuir Infrarouge by Crivelli. Goes comfortably for the whole day and even longer. Imagine Angels' Share but in a fresh shirt - this is what I feel in Paradis. I consider it more masculine than the original, although more of the reviews are on the contrary side - finding it more feminine. Scent: 9/10 Longevity: 9/10"
Fragrantica - "From the very first beginning, the fruit liquour scent projects strongly instead of the cinnamon and the smoky oak, then it becomes a vanilla liquor on my skin. The chocolate and the cinnamon of the original version are no where to be found, but I detect a mossy-rose in the background. I also think the sandalwood is more obvious and creamier than the original version, while the feeling of the oak wood is absent completely. Without the cinnamon and the smokey oak, Angels Share Paradis is more feminine at first, but the dry down is almost identical to the original. I enjoy how Angels Share Paradis remains the same scent profile while introducing a something new to us."
Fragrantica - "It’s great. It has the same Angels Share dna with added raspberry, just as advertised. Projects well and lasts a good amount of time. It was definitely pricey, but it is an extrait de parfum. If you love the original, you will love this."
