By Kilian I Don't Need A Prince By My Side To Be A Princess was released in 2018 as part of the My Kind of Love and has found a cult following - the little sister to Love Don't be Shy. It has been in short supply with rumors it was discontinued, but not so! They had supply chain issues with the weird bottle and are going to put it out gain in June of 2022 in the standard Kilian bottle. It is an amber vanilla with notes of lemon, green tea, ginger, peach, hedione, jasmine, apple, marshmallow, vanilla and benzoin. This is an EDP, eau de parfum.

Fragrantica - " was afraid to purchase the perfume because i dont like crowd pleased perfumes but this one might be one of my signature smell. First spray and I was like wow this is amazing smell something sweet vanilla.. Like some expensive cocktail i drank in the past. I smell sweet marshmallow but twisted with something spicy. I agree that it might give similar vibe as black opium in terms of spiceness but damn black opium is too sweet and strong and clony.. This is like sweet pleasant blanket. Once it settles down I smell sweet matcha tea, mild, milky... Something i expected replica matcha tea to be but from that perfume i just smell white flowers no tea."
Fragrantica - "The marshmallow note is what attracted me to this but the other notes like matcha, green tea, and ginger had me really scared on how well balanced and, well, just appealing this could possibly be. It just smells so dang good. Sweet with a bit of green earthiness that gives it depth. It's so warm and inviting. On my skin the marshmallow and vanilla are pronounced(YES!). The addition of the green tea and matcha is so bizarre IMO, but exactly what those notes needed to balance out. They work in unison. The floral notes play the background here because they're incredibly faint which is how I prefer them to be."
