Creed Fleurs de Gardenia was originally released in 2006 as a limited edition and has now returned as part of the Creed permanent line. A lovely woody floral, this doesn't emphasize the more earthy elements of the gardenia, but blends them well with the other florals in a traditional Creed base. Not overly feminine. The First Love gardenias only grow in Paris. A delicate and romantic fragrance. Fleurs de Gardenia is in the Floral Green fragrance group.
Notes of pink berries, blackcurrant, galbanum, gardenia, rose, lavender, peony, lily of the valley, jasmine, musk, patchouli and cedar.
From makeuupalley.com - "I must say.... this fragrance is literally breath-taking... the most beautiful gardenia note i have ever smelled i think."
From bestthingsinbeauty.blogspot.com - "To my nose, it's a floral blend in which no single flower is dominant - not gardenia, not roses, not peonies. It's soft and beautiful - and unique. That's a good thing."
Fragrantica: "Fleurs de Gardenia is such a beautiful mix of familiar and interesting notes that work so well together. The gardenia is subtle and fresh...Fragrance really is an art form and by getting stuck on what one thinks something ought to smell like, the opportunity to appreciate something different and wonderful can be missed."
