"When first the world demanded gourmands, I balked at blending bakery & bouquet. But as time passed, I asked, “How do you do sweet but not too sweet?” I have made a few forays, but this new one takes the cake. It’s my ideal balance of sweet, spice, flower, & vanilla resin. Ain't That Sweet is built upon one of my favorite desserts – Date Cake. There used to be an Aussie shop a few doors down from DSD’s first store that sold the first DC I ever came across. What a balance of dark malty flavor, narcotic spice, & warm vanilla. The perfect sweet. This is a perfume with a bold presence. An elegant perfume for late nights with your sweet. One that lingers like the memory of a sultry sweet. A date night fume for sure."

Reddit - "I think the description captures this scent pretty perfectly. There is sweetness, but it is layered in a more dark and spicy veil. It's very warm and inviting...cosy. I disagree with the comment it is a reworked Deep Dark Vanilla, I own that and did some immediate comparisons. Whilst it could be a miss for some, it has some mass appeal as I put this on in the morning and went to get a coffee and got an instant compliment from the staff member. There you go!"
