Limited Edition and sold out; it was originally created for Liberty London store. A moonlit kwest in London town with cosmic rock gods draped in Liberty print silks and heady fumes. From their website: On the cover of Ziggy Stardust, D. Bowie is rocking a Liberty print shirt. For the shoot, I guess they walked the streets of London late while most of the city was sleeping. I imagine this cosmically minded rocker and his entourage singing about space, grounded in proper London speech and manners. That juxtaposition has long drawn me to English culture. Liberty as neo-Tudor wonderland perched like a parked ship smack in the middle of Soho that carries you away to the far corners of the world with their endlessly patterned fabrics, exemplifies this “brilliant” mash-up. It is one of our most favorite stores on the planet. We wanted to make them a fragrance that is wild, full, fancy, and English. Wear at Maximum Volume features top notes of mandarin, martian pepper and Liberty silk; middle notes of Egyptian jasmine, English rose and violet; and base notes of amber, Brixton moss and moonlit patchouli. It is an eau de parfum, edp.
