d'Annam Vietnamese Coffee was released in 2023. This is straight up steaming, strong coffee. Created by Anh Ngo and IFF, it has notes of coffee, dark chocolate, lily of the valley, condensed milk, tonka bean, cedarwood and amber. This is an edp, Eau de Parfum. From the brand - "Vietnamese Coffee EDP honors Vietnam's delightful brew, crafted from dark-roasted Robusta beans, which exude a bold, caramel-chocolate richness and a pronounced bitterness that harmonizes exquisitely with creamy condensed milk. Topped with ice, it becomes the iconic drink known as ""Cà Phê Sữa Đá"", the perfect way to start the day for most Vietnamese."
D'Annam is a fragrance brand out of Vietnam. Their fragrance inspiration is the beautiful Vietnam countryside and cities.
Fragrantica - "Stick your nose in freshly brewed steamy dark-roast coffee bean grounds and this is exactly it smells like."
Fragrantica - "so fucking good. the best roasty toasty coffee bean smell with longevity condensed milk. obsessed."
Fragrantica - "Vietnamese Coffee is exactly what I expected from the name! For our Vietnamese coffee (ca phe sua da), we use strong roasted coffee beans and sweet condensed milk; this fragrance smells identical to the real thing—I can practically taste it! ? Compared to Amore Caffè by Mancera, Vietnamese Coffee hits stronger on the roasted coffee note, while the Mancera loses its coffee essence and transitions into a sweet brown sugar scent in the drydown (very similar to Escapade Gourmande). Vietnamese Coffee is a true, rich coffee scent with excellent projection."
Fragrantica - "Wow, Vietnamese Coffee EDP is just out of this world! The opening has real roasted coffee scent, just sharp and bold like a fresh morning brew. The development is quite nice: milky & sweet and caramel-like to my nose. I keep coming back to this!"
Fragrantica - "This fragrance brilliantly captures the essence of Vietnamese Coffee. The top note is bold, pure roasted Robusta beans, it's unapologetically coffee in your face. But it's the heart notes of dark chocolate and condensed milk that really set this one apart, inviting a smooth, creamy sweetness that harmonizes perfectly with the bitterness, just like the traditional Vietnamese coffee I love."
