DEATH AND FLORAL FROGS! REVIEWS
Reddit: To me, it smells primarily like a forest in late summer after a morning storm gave way to sunshine. It has this sort of 'wet, decaying woods' scent that mushroom notes tend to give. Apparently mushroom notes are controversial and a lot of people dislike them, but I'm a fan of every perfume I have with mushroom/fungi notes. The yuzu note I think adds a lot to it- this isn't a citrusy perfume, but that touch of yuzu just makes it feel sunny.
Reddit: I definitely get some of the humidity, and a forest-y smell (like damp soil) along with a bitter-but-bright smell from the yuzu that I really enjoy! I don't think I get much from the "wet frog skin" except the damp vibes, but overall I really enjoy it.
Reddit: It definitely evokes that smell and feeling of damp swampy frog skin. It’s like an idealized scent of sticking your head into a damp, well cared for amphibian tank. When you first put it on, there’s kind of a stuffy, humid smell, like wet rocks? and the slightest air of yuzu that somehow feels suppressed ? and stuffy. As it goes on, I get more of the humidity, the frog, and the fragrant cedarwood that makes it very nice and wearable later on. I think it’s a bit weird at first, but as it sits on my arm, it goes from weird to interesting to nice!
