Dior Dioriginal Diorling 2026 is an elegant Chypre Leather fragrance for women restored by Francis Kurkdjian from the original created by Paul Vacher during the golden age for chypre fragrances (1950-1960s) in 1963. This fragrance is a woody garden with the warmth of leather.
Notes of galbanum, jasmin and costus.
This is the eau de toilette version of the fragrance.
From Fragrantica - "I ran to buy Diorling and Dioressence, scent unsmelled, after their release. In the opening of Diorling, aldehydes. Then I'm reminded of Sisley's Eau de Soir and Trussardi (1984); underneath that, the 2019 iteration of Cabochard. The dry down on skin is so pleasant, powdery (again I'm thinking Madame Rochas), with a whisper of some leather still underneath."
From Fragrantica - "Diorling darling!
From the first spritz, you know it’s a classic. A couple of minutes in and you start to smell the evolution; IBQ? Check! Violet leaf? Check! Iris and powdery florals? Check!
It’s all there, somehow fresher. A Bandit who lunches!
The costus, or whatever animalic complex was used, truly shines; the same musky and dark presence of the vintage is there, slightly lighter but persistent.
There’s no mistaking it for anything but Diorling, with a beautiful leather note we hardly see anymore hidden in the bouquet of purple flowers that grace this beauty.
Another hit from Kurky that smells beautifully restored! "
From Fragrantica - "This is so beautiful! An exceptional green leather fragrance, that is simply magnificent! You simply can’t go wrong with any fragrance of the new Dioriginals."
