Dior Dioriviera is inspired by the rose garden near Chateau Noire in the South of France. Released in 2023, the first creation for Maison Dior by Francis Kurkdjian. A floral fruity unisex fragrance with notes of rose, fig, green notes.
From the brand - "This eau de parfum composed by Francis Kurkdjian combines two concepts in one name: the south of France, his source of inspiration, and Paris, the city where Dioriviera was created. A fragrance that conveys the love story between Christian Dior and the French Riviera, and draws inspiration from its solar beauty."
Dior’s luxury fragrance line La Collection Privée has been reimagined for 2018, offering a new way for you to be dressed in Dior. Rebranded as Maison Christian Dior, it goes beyond a collection of fragrances to become a somewhat ritualistic concept; that of perfuming and embellishing spaces and moments in your life. “When I create perfumes I flout technical constraints, schedules, fashions and trends,” Demachy (original director) explains of his artistic process. The fragrances in this collection are formed in families of Orientals, Florals, Sensuals, Light Florals and Fruity Florals, non-specific to gender but without being labelled ‘unisex’.
Fragrantica - " I take it as no coincidence Francis chose to release this fragrance as his inauguration to Dior as the Director. Dioriviera is, in my opinion, a self portrait. It is a dichotomy. Fresh but sweet. Feminine but masculine. Lighthearted but complex. Yet at its center, it is a reflection. Francis created something modern but reflective of the past within himself. Only a master can execute a task such as that."
Fragrantica - "This smells like a beautiful, watery, perfectly ripe but still green fig, with a touch of rose, done in the most minimalistic, fresh, and classy way. This is the scent of Dioriviera."
Fragrantica - "Starts green - stems, grass and foliage. I get dewy and fresh french roses more prominent at the start. As the perfume progresses, Figs come into play, initially fig skin and as time passes it becomes sweeter and juicier. Very different from Dipytique’s Phylosikos. White musks envelope the entire perfume making a linear & focused development with a beautiful sillage."
