Dolce & Gabbana Devotion was introduced in 2023. Created by Olivier Cresp, a lush vanilla fragrance inspired by pannettone. Notes of candied lemon, orange blossom and vanilla.  This is an EDP, eau de parfum.  From the brand - "Devotion Eau de Parfum is a delectable fragrance that celebrates life's noblest values, an unprecedented essence sealed by the Sacred Heart." And from the perfumer, Oliver Cresp, "Devotion is a celebration of the irresistible Italian dessert, panettone, and its delectable aromas. With top notes of candied lemon, a heart of orange blossom, and a base of vanilla, it's an enchanting gourmand blend."

Fragrantica - "This smells exactly like a lemon meringue tart on my skin. Soft and addictive. Stays on my skin for a long time and I can smell it all the time. These kinds of scents are needed on cool autumn and winter days."

    It's somehow more difficult to review the scents I like best. The moment I smelled it, it was an instant 10 out of 10 stars, and I can't think of very many others that I've felt that way about. The opening is a lemony gourmand. However, the lemon melds into the background and combines with vanilla and delicate florals. There's a hint of cookies or baking in there without smelling like a bakery. It's a scent that's feminine and sweet and immediately likable. Both my husband and daughter liked it, which is a rarity. It seems like a safe scent for any occasion because it's not overpowering and the florals are too faint to likely jumpstart anyone's allergies. I don't buy a lot of full bottles, but this one is likely one I won't be satisfied with just having a small decant.
