Fendi Ciao Amore launched in 2024 as part of a new collection of seven fragrances celebrating the 100th anniversary of Fendi coming in 2025. It celebrates the stories of the women who have shaped the Fendi brand and the Italian fashion industry. Fendi Ciao Amore was created by Fanny Bal and inspired by Leonetta Luciano Fendi, Silvia's second daughter. It is sun-warmed skin and the Mediterranean garden breeze with notes of fig, fig leaf, orange blossom and tonka bean. Fendi Ciao Amore is an EDP, eau de parfum.
From the brand -
"The sensuality of skin warmed by the sun and the breeze of a Mediterranean garden. Ciao Amore, a natural and spontaneous greeting for someone you love. A fragrance that evokes strong bonds with youthful fervour. For Leonetta Luciano Fendi, it's an evocation of Ponza, the island between Rome and Naples where the family spends its summers. A moment of eternity, a summer holiday that lasts all year round. 'Ciao Amore’ is how I greet my friends and the people I feel close to, to feel even closer. It’s spontaneous and lively, reflective of my personality.' – Leonetta Luciano Fendi
"A fragrance by master perfumer Fanny Bal, an evocation of Ponza, where volcanic rock plunges into the Mediterranean, where the sea breeze exudes the sensuality of places and people. Fig and orange blossom from Tunisia mingle in the heat of the sun, comforting and contrasting, while tonka bean absolute recounts this duality, at once gourmand and woody, like a scentscape of passion. A century after Adele Casagrande and Edoardo Fendi opened their fur and leather workshop in Rome, the family’s third and fourth generation weave stories of their secret gardens in their storied medium – the finest raw materials."
