Giorgio Armani Code (Women) was introduced in 2006 and has become a yearly award winner when voted by consumers. Created by Carlos Benaim, Dominique Ropion and Olivier Polge, it has notes of orange, jasmine, bitter orange, jasmine, orange blossom, ginger, honey, vanilla and sandalwood. This is an EDP, eau de parfum.
From the brand - "It is based on harmony between orange blossom, fresh spicy notes of ginger and warm sandalwood. A luminous opening captures the essence of two different oranges - bitter orange from Africa and sweet Italian orange. In the heart of the composition Tunisian orange blossom absolute makes a magical floral fantasy in alliance with jasmine Sambac. Its sensual trail brings a sweet unity of orange blossom, vanilla and a drop of honey."
Fragrantica - "I have the new bottle (without the black flower lace on it) and OH MY GOD. Fell. In. Love!!! It's like an aphrodisiac on my skin. It's so so so so so heavenly, just wow. Lasts on my skin for a couple days and smells incredible from first spray to after it settles down. My signature scent <3 I just can't get enough of this, it's so beautiful and seductive, feminine and dark, light and mysterious. Absolutely amazing, definitely will get you many compliments. I'm literally madly in love with this scent like you do not understand!!!"
Fragrantica - "This is a wonderful scent from Armani. Some have complained the new version (since the bottle changed) is not as strong. I beg to differ. I sprayed this on my arm the other day, and it was very potent and lasted for hours. Usually, I am not a fan of orange blossom, but it works here. I think it's because the scent is well blended. If you love jasmine, you will love this! The dry down is gorgeous with honey, vanilla, and sandalwood. I compare this to the original Dior Addict (with the gold top, from 2002)."
Fragrantica - "The new bottle lasts a good 8 hours and projects nicely. It's beautiful. Opens with orange. Dries down to Jasmine, vanilla, orange blossom, Sandalwood. "
