Fragrantica - "There's something special, niche-like (or at least off-brand) to this but it still retains a shadow of the pillar that is sweet and likeable. The blackcurrant is compote, jam, reduction--not synthetic, over-processed or over-sweetened. The more I smell it, the more I like it. It's also just a little grimy. I'm not quite sure how else to say that. Maybe the patchouli is a different source or maybe it's the artemesia? But the word grimy comes to mind."
Fragrantica - "he black currant and cassis combo creates a boozy, rich red wine note, which is gloriously heady and brightened by the citrusy notes. The floral notes are nicely blended. The rose is the perfect compliment to the opening, as it carries that same rich, heady vibe without becoming too sweet. The same richness is present in the drydown, which, like the florals is very well blended. I didn't find the vanilla note to be as prominent as many voters. Its presence just seems to bring a roundness or fullness to the fragrance."
Fragrantica: "It smelled like honey and flowers, with a bit of 'smoke'."
