Gucci A Chant for the Nymph was launched in 2020 as part of The Alchemist's Garden Collection. A collection that is inspired by alchemy, using natural plants augmented with modern molecules. Each is intended to tell a story of a place, a moment, a season, a memory.
Working with Alessandro Michele, created by Alberto Morillas, it is a unisex oriental floral with notes of frangipani, tiare, ylang and vanilla. From Gucci's description - "A symbol of immortality for the heavenly, enduring smell it releases on warm nights, Frangipani flower defines the perfume and re-evokes the story of a mythical nymph who appears in a long-forgotten summer night dream. The scent blends with intoxicating ylang ylang, sensual tiare flower, and soft vanilla."
