Gucci A Reason to Love was launched in 2022 as part of The Alchemist's Garden Collection. A collection that is inspired by alchemy, using natural plants augmented with modern molecules. Each is intended to tell a story of a place, a moment, a season, a memory.
Working with Allessandro Michele, it was created by Alberto Morillas, it is unisex fragrance centered aroudn rose and oud with notes of damas rose, peony, cardamom, agarwood (oud) and Tolu balsam. This is an EDP, eau de parfum.
Fragrantica - "So yes rose and oud has been done a million times before but I don't care because I love it. It's not as skanky as Voice of the Snake but id say it's a slighter lighter but still animalistic scent that makes me want to keep sniffing it as the day goes on. I layered it with the Nocturnal Whisper perfume oil I'd also bought and I just have to say omgg woww... I want to make love to my skin. It's such sexy combo... Just dark and erotic."
Fragrantica - "Rose oud combos done time and time again but it still wins me over all too easily. This one is animalic towards the dry down, which makes it all the more special because it’s not overdone."
