Gucci Tears From the Moon was released as part of The Alchemist's Garden Collection. A collection that is inspired by alchemy, using natural plants augmented with modern molecules. Each is intended to tell a story of a place, a moment, a season, a memory.
Working with Alessandro Michele, created by Alberto Morillas, this is a beautiful floral with notes of peony, lily of the valley and stephanotis. When I smelled, this, I kept thinking, this is the perfect wedding perfume. Or for anything really. It's not sweet, it's not too white floral or big. Just soft and subtle enough to wear for every day or for a special occasion. I mean, I'll wear it to the pool and to the grocery store because it is just lovely to wear.
From the brand - "The free and joyful spirit of a dragonfly embodies this luminous fragrance built around a white floral bouquet of white peony, lily of the valley, and stephanotis. The white peony, airy and floral, is a symbol of wealth and honor. Fresh and with an animalic touch, it is enriched by the green dew of lily of the valley in its heart. The radiant stephanotis, also known as Madagascar jasmine, reveals the secret of this elegant spring bouquet."
From Fragrantica - "I tried this at Gucci yesterday and from the scent pillow they had I got a delicate feminine cloud of powdery white linen in a light perfectly delicately blended way... "whoa, amazing" was my impression. I had to order it because they were out but I cant wait to get it. It could be a game changer.."
