Gucci Tears of Iris was launched in 2019 as part of The Alchemist's Garden Collection. A collection that is inspired by alchemy, using natural plants augmented with modern molecules. Each is intended to tell a story of a place, a moment, a season, a memory.
Working with Alessandro Michele, created by Alberto Morillas, it is a floral woody musk emphasizing iris, with notes of iris, sandalwood, angelica seeds and musks. Inspired by the iris flower, which is a symbol of wisdom and courage.
