Guerlain Insolence has top notes of violet, raspberry, and red fruit pulp; middle notes of violet, rose and orange blossom; and base notes of iris, tonka bean, musk and sandalwood. It is an eau de toilette, edt, and was created by Maurice Roucel.

Initial impression is very sweet, artificial violet, after an hour or so it reminds me of a sweeter, more simplistic apres l'ondee. Will be interested to try layering with it since insolence seems to have a bit better holding power.

IMHO, Insolence is very sweet but has a dry cake-like note. I like many gourmand perfumes but this one was too foody for me. It reminded me of a scented candle. I like the scent but I wouldn't want to wear it.
