Description

Guerlain L'Heure Bleue 2026 was Launched in 2026, as an update to the classic - and it is divisive.  Difficult to rework a classic and keep the name the same.  Created by Delphine Jelk, it has notes of ozone, orange blossom, neroli, iris, orris, jasmine, vanilla, ambroxan and musk.  Guerlain L'Heure Bleue 2026 is an EDP, eau de parfum.

From the perfumer - "“I wanted to capture the blue hour with the same tenderness as Jacques Guerlain’s L’Heure Bleue from 1912. It is a fragrance that envelops us in a scent that is powerful, yet soft and intimate.”

From the brand - "As day gives way to night, the sky deepens into blue: the blue hour has arrived. A captivating moment when everything shifts and anything feels possible. Inspired by this natural phenomenon, L’Heure Bleue Eau de Parfum captures the scent of the air at that fleeting instant when time appears to stand still. An amber-floral fragrance with an irresistibly lingering trail, it brings together the crystalline freshness of the evening air with the velvety softness of iris and vanilla. An invitation to experience every moment as a “blue hour,” suspended in possibility."

Reviews of Guerlain L'Heure Bleue 2026

Fragrantica - "HB 2026 is unmistakably a modern fragrance—a modern take on iris—since iris scents are often perceived as mature rather than contemporary. Why? Because the perfumer had the inspired idea to pair the majestic iris with neroli. This neroli cuts through the iris's powdery quality, making it effervescent. It is a joyful fragrance for the first three hours or so; then, as it settles, you can relatively easily detect a trace of the original HB’s DNA. In the final stage of its evolution—particularly in the base notes—it resembles a version of *Insolence* EDT that swaps violet for iris. Why the EDT version? Another brilliant idea of Delphine’s was to introduce that ozonic undertone—more intense in the opening yet well-balanced thereafter—which lends a certain freshness and gives the composition airyness, preventing it from becoming oppressive. and too dense. Although not officially listed, I also detect a tiny hint of violet—elf-like—accompanying the majestic iris."

Fragrantica - "It’s quite wonderful with prominent vanilla, citrus, and floral notes with some animalistic qualities that make it unique. It’s definitely not powdery, like I thought it might be. It is a little bit sweet. It almost smells Middle Eastern to my nose in a way."

Fragrantica - "Honestly. Its the most gorgeous warm ozonic scent. That said i am truly an ozonic fragrance addict, plus anything powdery and irisy. This is right up my alley. Where are yall getting a fishy rancid smell from ?!! The dry down does give the vibe of dryer sheets a little but in the best most luxurious way ever. 10/10 for me."
