Bois Mysterieux is a blend of deep leather and sumptuous woods. Bold and audacious, this is a modern interpretation of the concept of exoticism. Bois Mysterieux is a unisex leather fragrance that launched in 2019 and was created by Thierry Wasser. It features top notes of laurel and neroli; middle notes of Atlas cedar, patchouli and jasmine; and base notes of leather and myrrh. It is an eau de parfum, edp.
Fragrantica: Very pleasant amber leathery scent. Last long and projects very good. Impressive way beyond my expectation. It was a blind buy which didn’t regret at all.
Fragrantica: Some call it challenging, but I don’t see that, but it’s all subjective of course. If you’re a beginner, youngster, it will definitely be challenging. I like it a lot! Spices with that cumin-y feel..I simply adore this...actually I love many of this series, including Santal Royal and Encens Mythique, fantastic ambergris-based scent. And those three are my favourites. I will definitely get Bois Mysterieux full bottle. All perfumes from this collection have fantastic performance, which I highly appreciate. A masterpiece from Guerlain.
Fragrantica: Disclaimer! I love Guerlain fragrances. I have tried many and settled on a few. This is a masterfully created scent! Insanely sexy! Makes you want to get busy! But for everyday wear it's just too fleeting for the price. Do not believe that this has any sort of monster performance. It does however work for at most 1 hour. After that it starts to fade. Plan accordingly. I get a myrrhy soft leather with something ever so slightly animal playing in the background. Calling you to relax and enjoy your stay in a big plush bed with your loved one. Make love for an hour (or two!). Rest. Reapply and go for it again! Its just too damn erotic. Do I need a whole bottle? Probably not. A 10ml decant will last for those decadent weekends you might get a chance to actually make happen. A very rare secret weapon at your disposal. Everyday wear just will not cut it because your mind will be taking you constantly for a wild ride. 5 star bedroom fantasy scent.
