Guerlain Vanille Planifolia Extrait 21 is part of the Les Extraits Signature collection release in 2023. This collection was created by Delphine Jelk and Thierry Wasser. It is a tribute to the origins of the Guerlain heritage  - Guerlinade -  broken down into each of the six raw materials that comprise it, but they are each complete on their own in these extrait formulations. Putting them together in different combinations is magic. A rich spiced vanilla, it is not a straight up sweet vanilla, it leans much more heavily on amber and spices.  Notes of vanilla, spices, opoponax, amber and musk. It has that Guerlain thing, almost feeling like a stripped down version of Bois D’Armenie—smoother, more linear… it just feels really nice and undisturbed. Also it lasts for a full day on my skin.
