Description

Styrax is a moment of privilege, mind and body completely connected, man and horse suddenly become one. Mutual taming. The familiar warmth of a peach-skinned chestnut awakens the desire for untamed riding. The praise of escaping, at a gallop, the ultimate metaphor for unbridled freedom. Take the reins. Conquer time, conquer yourself. Grasping the mane, labdanum and amber, conjuring the image of a polished saddle, warmed against the body of a steed, unite with the leather and apricot notes of styrax and osmanthus, in a tribute to skin in all kingdoms: plant, animal and human. Warm and radiant. With notes of styrax, cypriol (nagarmotha), labdanum, osmanthus, patchouli, vetiver, saffron and amber. Styrax is an eau de parfum, edp.

HEADSPACE STYRAX REVIEWS

Fragrantica: This one immediately reminded me of Fortis from Liquides Imaginaires but a little less powdery. In Fortis the powdery amber facet feels even more dialed up (in a way I enjoy smelling, but find a little unwearable). In Styrax, it's SO similar, but a the powder is *slightly* more balanced with woody and mossy notes. Really enjoy it. Try this if you like any of the following: Black Afgano, Fortis, Musc Ravageur, Ambre Sultan and Benjoin Boheme.

Reddit: Styrax was also resinous, but in a different way from Myrrhe - more dry and spicy and a little bit leathery. This one lasted a long time too. A very subtle, but very masculine, scent 9/10

Aus Liebe Zum Duft: Styrax is the resin of the same name which has a sweet balsamic, slightly grassy odor with a top note reminiscent of styrene.” Styrene, by the way, has a sweetish odor. Sweet, almost fruity, it really gets going – both on skin and on the fragrance strip – and I could have sworn that a dash of oud was also added to Miroslav Petkov’s composition. Who knows, maybe he’s hiding something from us. Anyway, the sweetness soon subsides and resinous, balsamic, but also dry-woody and herbaceous notes unfold, a good part probably coming from labdanum. Styrax is a fragrance for friends of balsamic, animalic, soft and slightly sweet scents. Nevertheless, it has enough rough edges not to become too sweet.
