Description

Jake’s House is a marine citrus fragrance. Watery clean freshness encounters honeyed neroli for a light and clean musky finish. “Jake’s House is deeply personal to me. It was inspired by my grandfather — and the comforting, clean scent of his home in North Dakota. There was a quiet stillness there, a kind of safety. That memory became the heart of this fragrance.” - Founder, Michelle Pfeiffer.

The Henry Rose line was created by Michelle Pfeiffer and their fragrances are hypoallergenic and contain no parabens, no phthalates and no formaldehyde.

HENRY ROSE JAKE'S HOUSE REVIEWS

Fragrantica: "This reminds me of when I was in my “orange” phase. I was obsessed with any and all perfumes that were orange oriented, including the fruit, leaves and tree bark. I think this is a great, laundered-clean (though not dryer-sheet) lukewarm orange that sits on the sweeter side of the spectrum without becoming a different fruit entirely, i.e. a clementine or a mandarin orange."

Fragrantica: "This fragrance is really beautiful and interesting and I keep reapplying it just to smell it on myself. To me it smells like a white lilac bush by a lake full of lily pads. The bush is young and you can smell the freshness of the green leaves by the flowers. I normally don't like such fresh scents but this is very noteworthy to me."

Fragrantica: "Holy Neroli - the opening of this was insanely strong of neroli. Thankfully after a few moments, this is exactly what I had been looking for in a neroli perfume - not to overbearing white florals with some freshness. Almost like orange blossom water. It’s fresh, light, a little sweet."

Fragrantica: "Such a gorgeous marine scent. Salty and a little floral thanks to the neroli. Perfect for splashing around in during the summer. If I didn’t live in Colorado (landlocked and arid), or rather, if I lived on the coast, I would wear this all summer long. For now, I’ll reserve this for coastal summer vacations. It’s not groundbreaking but it’s doing what it does beautifully."

Fragrantica: "In my opinion, this is the ultimate pairing for a linen summer wardrobe. On those muggy, oppressive hot summer days in the Southeast, where the humidity can make heavier scents feel suffocating, this offers a much-needed olfactory reprieve. It remains crisp and sharp throughout its wear, providing a clean "just-out-of-the-shower" feel that cuts through the heat. I highly recommend this for those who appreciate the sharp, slightly citrusy edge of neroli and enjoy a fragrance that defines the "clean" aesthetic. If you want a scent that handles extreme humidity with a sophisticated coastal vibe, this is a top-tier contender for your summer rotation."

Fragrantica: "Here’s why I LOVE this scent: After the initial burst of water-stone, Jake’s House gives the cleanest shower-fresh white floral vibes. AND IT DOESN’T GET TOO SWEET. It also doesn’t get too … cloying or annoying. It stays fresh fresh fresh. I had this last Spring/Summer and I couldn’t wait to get my hands on another bottle. It makes me feel like I’m sitting in a dappled English Garden - and that Elizabeth & Darcy will walk by at any moment. Very Austen. Highly recommend."
