Hermes Bel Ami eau de toilette has notes of moss and woods, notes are leather, herbs, sandalwood and a touch of lemon. Bel Ami is a wonderful men's scent. This is the reformulated newer version.

This leather is very different than Tuscan Leather by Tom Ford. This is a clean, dry and luxurious leather with an herbal twist. As opposed to TL which is a dirty, damp, smokey leather with a sweet raspberry twist.
This has the backbone of the classic masculine scent of years past but Jean Claude Ellena did a masterful job of modernizing it. Classic, yes but definitely not dated either. A modern tribute to an old masterpiece, Bravo Mr. Ellena! I probably wouldn't feel comfortable wearing this casually, this is definitely a dressed up evening event wear.

I won't pretend to break down the various scents that go into making Hermes' Bel Ami, I'll leave that to the experts, but as someone who enjoys classic fragrances - and does not enjoy the recent turn towards "fresh" scents - I really enjoy wearing this. It reminds me of a more refined, more sensuous, version of Old Spice. For the younger crowd, this may be the "kiss of death", but for those who think "classic" isn't a synonym for "old", you might like this one.

I'm a great fan of leathery, sophisticated and classy frags. This beautiful scent from Hermes blow me away first time I sniffed it. Really gorgeous, upscale, masculine. This one and Tuscan leather must be one of those best leather frags as far as scents go, probably! You can't go wrong with it. Fall/ winter frag. Longevity and projection is great on my skin. I'm happy to sampled it and bought a bottle:)
