Perfume Description

Hermes Jour d'Hermes was released in late 2012, a celebration of spring floral bouquets.  Only a couple of notes are officially listed - gardenia and sweet pea.  Opening with grapefruit, this quickly dissolves into a green floral bouquet that is all about spring and life.  Wear this in the deepest, darkest days of winter to remind you that spring will absolutely one day arrive.  A lovely floral fragrance from the restrained hand of Jean-Claude Ellena.

It does open with a rush of citrus, almost like a spritzer of grapefruit and lime, and quickly mellows into scents of greenery, but it fades quickly, and carries an almost stale odor that seems like a cross between gardenia and iris.
