Hermes Twilly D'Hermes is a floriental, women's fragrance launched fall 2017. Created by Christine Nagel, it has notes of tuberose, ginger and sandalwood. It may look like it skews young, but it is a beautiful fragrance for everyone including the young. Twilly was inspired by the iconic narrow silk scarves that are available in colorful prints.
"It is with young women in mind, by observing their lives, that I created Twilly d’Hermès. Free, bold and irreverent, they swim against the tide, impose their own rhythm, invent a brand new tempo." —Christine Nagel.
from scentainer - "Twilly’s perfume composition is floral and dominated by white flowers, tuberose like no other. Just as Jean Claude Ellena redefined how grapefruit should smell in the cult Terre d’Hermes, so did Christine Nagel redefine tuberose, making something that can surprise a nose who has tried hundreds of tuberose creations – a sign of extraordinary talent. I think we can expect great things from her in the future."
from colognoisseur - "As I was wearing Twilly D’Hermes I thought about what that would mean if you were aiming to introduce a young girl to perfume. You would keep it on the floral side you might add a fruity partner and finish with a light woody note. This is meant to be an enticement to add perfume to your day to a young woman who hasn’t done that. "
