Description

Hermessence Muguet Porcelaine is a beautiful springtime lily of the valley fragrance released in May 2016. Muguet Porcelaine has notes of lily-of-the-valley and green notes. The intention was to capture the entire lily of the valley, especially all of the greenery of the plant.  Note listing: green notes, pear, lily-of-the-valley, Hedione, neroli, white musk and animal notes. Muguet Porcelaine is in the Floral fragrance group.

Hermes Muguet Porcelaine is an eau de toilette, edt, and was created by Jean Claude Ellena and can be worn by men or women.

Review of Hermessence Muguet Porcelaine from noses that may or may not sniff like your nose does.

from nstperfume - "What I can tell you is that the opening of Muguet Porcelaine induces the same euphoric feeling I get from the first spray of my nicely-aged vintage versions of Diorissimo: ah, spring! For a few seconds, I thought Ellena might be wading deep into Roudnitska territory, but no, it is recognizably a Hermès pretty quickly. There is a blurred green backdrop, heavily (in the relative sense) spicy-herbal-peppery for a very brief time, then mildly so, smoothed over with the watery effect we have seen in a number of Ellena's recent fragrances."

from basenotes - "I've had mixed feeling with Muguet Porcelaine until recently. I found it a transparent, watery, melon-infused lily of the valley very much in line with the general aesthetics of Hermessence. But there is also a strange fuzzy warmth that makes it surprisingly not as fresh and crisp as other green, aqueous lily of the valley."
