L'Arrivee was released in 2011 and is out of production and nearly sold out. It is considered a "masculine floral" jasmine that is beautiful for a woman to wear as well. Soft mimosa harmonizes with sunny marigold, bergamot and magnolia. In the heart, multiple varieties of natural jasmine blend with tiare, broom, frankincense, neroli and rosewood - notes that add to the interest of the jasmine but never detract from the soliflore nature of the composition. The addition of a proprietary civet replacement balances the overall effect and lends a suede-like finish on the skin. This is not an indolic, cloying hedione jasmine fragrance but an incredible genuine jasmine fragrance you have to try to believe. A 100% all natural white floral fragrance with notes of South African gia, green heartwood, jasmine, vetiver, Egyptian marigold, neroli and Egyptian frankincense. L'Arrivee is an extrait de parfum.
Created by founder and perfumer Christi Meshell, House of Matriarch's fragrances are made using the highest quality, certified kosher, natural ethanol distilled in Washington (from organic apples and grapes) so they will continue to smell better and better with time. Halal approved.
HOUSE OF MATRIARCH L'ARRIVEE REVIEWS
Fragrantica: This is a natural rendition of a vintage fragrance! I swear I smell something approximating aldehydes when I first spray, that softens into a lovely vintage fragrance, in the spirit of Climat and the like... it’s suddenly the 50s and I’m pressing flowers in my album next to my silver potpourri dish and Limoge figurines.
Fragrantica: Two years ago when I was tired of the same mainstream colognes at retail stores mostly designers I kinda satisfied my desire for something new with Niche World but when I discovered the fragrance community was even better for me because I've found what I was looking for, Indie Perfumery!! Never in my wildest dreams thought that I will love florals, I guy like me who loves musky, leathery, woody colognes turned his appetite for sandalwood, incense, frankincense and rose!! Well I still don't like tuberose and jasmine but everything change when I smelled L' Arrivée by House of Matriarch, this gem is like I call "Dancing with Jasmine" it's in my humble opinion the first truly masculine floral that I came across. The strong jasmine opening may you think oh no!! But wait, then bergamot shows up with some sort of magnolia, then jasmine invites another beauty; neroli, but the most outstanding part of this dancing is the happy ending with the dry down of sandalwood, frankincense and vanilla which it gives you an ambery effect at the end. Serious collectors must have this unique fragrance in their outstanding collection, its a high end perfumery I know, I heard some people complained about that and also the longevity but this is a unique gem.
