Imaginary Authors First Peach of the Season was released in 2026, created by Josh Meyer. Centered on peach in a bed of cream, it has notes of peach, chantilly cream, bigarade, honeydew melon, jasmine and benzoin.
All of the Imaginary Authors have a story that accompanies them. Here is the story of First Peach of the Season from the Imaginary Authors website: "It’s not that literature student Agnes Souci is a prude, it’s just that she hasn’t had an opportunity to open up in the bedroom—or anywhere else for that matter. She meets the affable and patient Hollis Stone in her Jane Austen study group, the only boy enrolled in her women’s lit class. Having been raised as the son of a gospel singing single mother in rural Georgia, he is measured, respectful, and gracious. But having learned everything he knows about love from an older woman with very specific kinks—his first and only relationship—he brings a level of experience and quiet confidence most of his classmates lack. Their dry humor and shared love of 90s sitcom references pull them together but it’s their willingness to explore that pushes their relationship far beyond their wildest fantasies.".
Imaginary Authors First Peach of the Season is an eau de parfum, edp.
Fragrantica - "Love! Smells nostalgic and deviates a bit from normal peach scents because of the lactonic and jasmine notes. Very fresh and comfy smelling. The initial spray is too artificial and smells like peach ring candy, but that dies down within a minute or two and mellows a lot into the main base scent. It smells great on my skin too."
Fragrantica - "If I was out and about and someone smelled like this, I'd probably think they were some sun-kissed angel come down from above. The peach is freshly bitten, exposing the temperate droplets of fragrance, skin sweat on fruit. The milky essence of fresh jasmine soothes the bruise of the ripe peach. The cream notes paired with the florals is pure innocent heaven."
Fragrantica - "Although I have been trying to stray away from gourmands, this is really good. it's almost too close to being too sweet, but I feel in the heat it smells really wonderful. kind of smells like a peach ring gummy initially, but if it was somehow sexually appealing (? lol) the subtle jasmine is very yummy and warm paired with the benzoin. feels innocent and playful but a little dirty if you look a little harder, like a fling none of your friends know about. the story encompasses it well. all in all becomes a ripe, sun soaked peach."
Fragrantica - "Such a hyperealistic peach scent. I see some people on here call it too sweet or synthetic, I don't get that at all. To me this smells like when you first bite into the fruit and the juice drips all over your hands. So authentic and not overly cloying, this is by far one of my favorite fruit fragrances I've smelled. This will 100% be one of my dumb reaches to wear in the heat this summer!!"
