Imaginary Authors In Love With Everything was released in 2022, created by Josh Meyer. This is the carefree recklessness of youth undercut with fear of missing out on something... anything.. everything! Notes of neon raspberry, citrus pulp, coconut palm sugar, sandalwood, tropical punch and stardust.
All of the Imaginary Authors have a story that accompanies them. Here is the story of Imaginary Authors In Love With Everything from the Imaginary Authors website: "Written in 1982, this electrifying novel about sex, drugs, and decadence in pre-Miami Vice Florida, follows a delinquent clique of teenage girls through nightclubs, roller discos, and seedy South Beach bars in search of anything to keep the party going"
Imaginary Authors In Love With Everything is an eau de parfum, edp.
Fragrantica - "It reminds me of a more easy going version of Pulp minus the fig. Hyper fruity but not cloying or immature. I like it a lot!"
Fragrantica - "There are 2 halves to this fragrance: First you have the top made up of this sweet sherbet-like raspberry note. There's also a 'fruit punch' type of smell but it's not syrupy sweet or heavy, it's more watery-fruity focusing on lychee. Feminine, sweet, & sugary. Very youthful & playful energy. Second: There's a great base of coconut palm sugar and sandalwood. It really does feel like you're surrounded by palm trees, you get the wood/bark scent that comes across very light and warm, and coupled with the coconut this is super cozy and edible. Overall it's absolutely created that 'art/moment' idea Imaginary Authors strives for, so it's accomplished its job really well. You could definitely still wear this though, it just leans very feminine, youthful, and has that sugary sweetness to keep in mind."
Fragrantica - "This is so out of the realm of what IA usually creates, and I love it for that! It's super in your face tropical fruit punch but in a dazzling and somewhat punky "I don't care" way. The notes list isn't complete here on Fragrantica, according to IA there is also passionfruit here, which is and has become my favorite note whenever it makes an appearance in any fragrance! I absolutely love the creativity behind this release, so evocative of 80s Miami. I was listening to Tears for Fears and A Flock of Seagulls all day as I composed my content for this creation. SO much fun and highly enjoyable. Best of all, the longevity was incredible for such a fruity scent - 7+ hours on my frag-eating skin. Perhaps it's the stardust?"
