Imaginary Authors Sundrunk was released in 2018, created by Josh Meyer. Notes of neroli, rhubarb, honeysuckle, rose water, orange zest, first kiss.
All of the Imaginary Authors have a story that accompanies them. Here is the story of Imaginary Authors Sundrunk from the Imaginary Authors website: "When Clementine Cope set foot in snow deeper than her knees, she knew it was for the last time. Leaving the rural Montana home she’d been raised in, with no plans other than to follow the setting sun, she’d wake up every morning and head towards the warmth; dreaming of Dennis Wilson, push pops in the sand, and convertibles. Her journey covers thousands of miles and delivers her first-ever view of the ocean. By the time summer hits, Clem is consumed by an incomprehensible joy. She finally stops traveling when she settles into a ramshackle surf camp with newfound friends from the hills of Topanga, California. Now realizing for the first time her journey is only beginning."
Imaginary Authors Sundrunk is an eau de parfum, edp.
Fragrantica - "A blast of freshly-squeezed juicy orange starts Sundrunk and dominates it. The orange smell is made slightly muskier and spicier with rhubarb, and slightly sharper with neroli. The rest of the floral add a very soft rosey musky accord that is not overt but give Sundrunk more character and depth."
Fragrantica - "I love this fragrance. I live in Florida and grew up around orange groves and the ocean. The orange note is fresh and smells like a just-peeled tangelo. The hibiscus and rhubarb bring a sunny tang, and the neroli a sweetness. I have to strain to smell the rose water, but it lends a refreshing, aquatic vibe. All told, Sundrunk brings to mind a cheerful March day as the weather is warming up in Florida. Spring Break in a bottle."
