Rakugan is a unisex amber vanilla fragrance that was created to be reminiscent of the Japanese sweets by the same name. Rakugan is made by mixing powders of rice, wheat, beans, etc. with sugar and starch syrup and pressing them into a mold to dry. The flavor of Rakugan resembles the mellowness of brown raw sugar but the fresh clean aftertaste and elegance is what makes Rakugan so unique. The balsamic note of this fragrance is soft and sweet like honey. Rakugan features top notes of apricot, apple, strawberry and maple; middle notes of rose, peach and benzoin; and base notes of iris, vanilla, tonka bean and cedar.
