Jean Paul Gaultier La Belle was released in 2019, created by Quentin Bisch and Sonia Constant. An ambery vanilla, it has notes of pear, bergamot, florals, leather, vanilla, vetiver, amber and musk.
Fragrantica - "La Belle is just the most perfect gourmand. Just like I mentioned when I reviewed Le Parfum version. La Belle is hypnotizing, sexy, mysterious, intoxicating, heavenly. Sweet, yes, but sooo amazingly good. So perfect. The pear is more prominent here in La Belle, a lighter version than Le Parfum that has more tonka bean and vanilla. And something that smells like... cherry? Both are amazing, and I love both."
Fragrantica - "I don’t even like sweet gourmand type of fragrances & this just may be a new signature! Something told me to just try it when I was at Macy’s. I may even pair this with Replica’s “By The Fire Place” this winter for some added smokiness!"
Fragrantica - "This is my #1 compliment getter out of a BIG collection! Vanilla and Pear are the two notes I get the most of. This has a beautiful warm spice to it as well which is what makes it stand out from the crowd. This is strong and it lasts forever - it's like walking in a scent bubble (which I love) If your not into strong scents this isn't one for you!"
Fragrantica - "I finally gave in to the curiosity as this number seemed to have stirred up the hate of many lately. Frankly, I'm unsure as to what there's to hate here. It's GLORIOUS! ... Down to the notes, this is straight up syrupy, baked pear with vanilla sugar sprinkled on it. At first spritz I gasped and mouth went watering. The most delicious baked pear tart had just decided to discombobulate my neurons, sending me into a French pastry hunger frenzy."
