Jo Malone Leather & Artemisia Cologne is inspired by the library and features notes of absinthe, orris, leather and cypriol. You can imagine sitting in a leather chair surrounded by books and sipping on an absinthe cocktail. Leather & Artemisia is a cologne.
This year's limited edition Jo Malone Collection was inspired by a group of free spirited artists that lived in the legendary Charleston House in East Sussex. The Bloomsbury Group, or Bloomsbury Set, was an influential group of writers, intellectuals, philosophers and artists. This loose collective of friends and relatives lived, worked or studied together near Bloomsbury, London, during the first half of the 20th century. The collection is inspired by their free-spirited lives and the beautiful Charleston House they lived in. It captures the intoxicating essence of an unconventional life - the lily pond at dawn, bold blue hyacinth, absinthe afternoons, golden linseed on paint-stained hands, warming whisky, sweet pipe tobacco and the secrets of waxed floors burnished by footsteps in the night.
Jo Malone Leather & Artemisia Cologne Reviews
Fragrantica: "It's a beautiful, gentle, soothing, slightly old-schoolish, velvety/suede (far from leather) scent. Very feminine."
Fragrantica: "This one is smooth, and kind of sweet. Hard to describe, but definitely try it!"
