Mme Flipo threads through filaments of labdanum and patchouli. These take what was already fully-rounded violet and makes it three-dimensional. The patchouli adds an earthiness which is the right support for the violet. The base accord are those Middle Eastern ingredients. Amber is the focal point but there is an expansive white musk and subtle oud which rise off the warmth of the amber. It as if they are a brazier warming the violet accord above."

My fiance is NOT a fragrance person. He claims all but the softest scent makes his head hurt. I convinced him to go through some of my sample collection to see if any of it at all appealed to him and he ended up strongly gravitating towards this as well as jo malone moonlit chamomile and has started exploring perfume notes and blend. Great unisex scent!
