Lovely but doesn't last
Love the scent but after less than an hour it's gone.
Jo Malone Wood Sage & Sea Salt was released in September of 2014, created by Christine Nagel. Inspired by the British beach, it has an open, salty, breezy feeling that is perfect for any time. Notes of ambrette seed, sea salt, sage, red algae and grapefruit make up the fragrance. Christina Nagel said this about her new fragrance -"Sea air is mixed with salty and mineral texture of sand and stones. As the scent of driftwood it has natural and fresh sophistication. A complex combination of wood and sea is in its essence. It provides the feeling of freedom and natural spirit."
Fragrantica: "If I could bottle up a day at the beach this would be it. It has that (ferris wheel at night overlooking the lights while the moon is reflecting off the waves while feeling a cool breeze on your face) vibe."
Fragrantica: "Light, fresh, clean, marine, aquatic, slightly sweet, gloriously uplifting, sultry, and sexy are the words I would use to best describe Wood Sage & Sea Salt. Its perfect for those who don't like strong scents and prefer them to be on the lighter side."
Love the scent but after less than an hour it's gone.
Interesting combination of smells. If you like clean, bright, fresh scents you have to try this

I wish I could give it 5 stars because it’s the best smelling stuff on earth. But the longevity isn’t up to par. I often spray it on my clothes because it stays longer there.
This smells really clean and fresh, along the lines of Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue, but not really a dupe. I can't wear Light Blue. It goes too bug repellent/men's cologne on me. This is so nice and fresh and uplifting. It reminds me of the beach. The problem is that it doesn't last long. It smells amazing for 20 minutes, then it barely smells at all, and within a couple of hours it's pretty much gone. I know Jo Malone scents are notorious for not having good longevity, but this is one of the worst. Wild Bluebell is a little harsh to me, and that one just kept going and going. I would love to buy a bottle, but I wish there was some way to make this last, shy of investing a lot in layering with lotion and body wash. It's already a high price point, I don't want to be roped into buying all these extras to have it last a normal length of time.
It is a nice scent. Fresh but not too clean smelling. Only downside is that it reminds me of a room freshener that hotels use. I am not shure I would like to smell like that.
From the description, I was expecting something more clean smelling. The sage is very overpowering and it's pretty much all you smell. Good thing I don't mind the scent of sage so much.
