Fragrantica - "Very nearly the perfect tea scent I’ve been looking for. Most tea accords smell soapy to my nose, this is basically photorealistic English breakfast tea to me. In fact, I smelt my tea and then this directly after and it was hard to spot a difference! I don’t get much spice, for me it’s mostly lactonic tea, but super comforting and a little sweet. I could see this being cloying to some, even for me I don’t think I would spray it on my neck but many lactonic scents are like that imo. Really good silage though so I don’t think it needs to be around your neck to be smelt by yourself or others.
Based on how different I think it smells to some of the other comments, I would suggest it’s one of those perfumes you really have to test as it’s quite complex."
Fragrantica - "A beautiful cardamom tea scent. Best one I’ve smelled. It leans a little more feminine than Gris Charnel. And no, illicit is not a dupe for this. This has more richness, depth and staying power. I think this house is underrated. Everything I’ve tested so far is quality."
Fragrantica - "Frangipani and vanilla milk give this a creamy, lactonic character, never fully leaning in true gourmand territory though. The woody aspects don’t let this happen and together with the citruses uplift the composition, making this a perfect candidate for a year round signature. A yes from me!"
Fragrantica - "This is beautiful. I’ve never smelled anything like it, and it is one of the rare perfumes that agrees with my chemistry. It’s warm and comforting but bright and sparkling simultaneously. I don’t enjoy cardamom usually, but in this blend it fits in so nicely to round out any sharpness. The tea note ties it together in a delicious but not gourmand way. FB worthy."
