Fragrantica - "This is one of the most interesting perfumes I’ve ever bought and it really kickstarted an obsession with banana note in perfumes for me (I’ve since acquired Eclair Banoffi, Oakcha Banana Crepe and Arabiyat Vanilla Cream Macaron and I also have Bond No 9 New York Nights in my collection). From reviews I’ve seen, it seems the opening smells different on and to everyone depending on skin chemistry. For me, on the tester, it is pure banana candy. This banana candy smell made me immediately purchase the bottle it was so good! On my skin, I definitely get more maple syrup and less banana. The banana on my skin really only lasts a few minutes before it becomes a gourmand maple syrup sweet scent. Once it is fully dried down it morphs into this really beautiful, slightly spicy, floral, sweet but still clean scent. This dry down is not as gourmand for me but is so addicting. The lasting power is incredible as well, as I can still smell it 8-10 hours after I put it on and I only put on 2 sprays in the morning. I have been layering it with Eclair Banoffi and have gotten so many compliments about how good I smell. No one has said I smell like banana or anything edible, but I everyone has commented that it just smells really good."
