Description

Juliette Has a Gun Miami Shake was released in 2025, a summery summery lactonic fragrance with notes of strawberry, whipped cream, ice cream and vanilla.  I love a strawberry perfume, and it looks like summer 2025 is the "it" note in perfumery! However, there are some pretty mixed reviews on this so far - not sure if that is because it is different from the marketing or just sheer hate. It is NOT the gourmand you may think it will be

From the brand - "Juliette Has a Gun Miami Shake is a new fragrance for women launched in 2025. It is the brand's first true gourmand fragrance, featuring a creamy composition of ripe wild strawberries, musky whipped cream, and vanilla. The fragrance is reminiscent of a creamy milkshake, enveloping the wearer in a lasting scent trail."

Juliette Has a Gun Miami Shake is an eau de parfum, edp.

Juliette Has a Gun Miami Shake Review

Fragrantica - "Miami Shake is NOT A GOURMAND! There are additional notes/accords making it a creamy fragrance with a strange strawberry note and maybe a touch of banana. It has a milky lotion-like aspect with a slightly savory buttered popcorn accord that pops out in the dry down. The strawberry is strongest in the opening and then blends into the sweet milk with interesting heavy floral molecules that are reminiscent of gardenia or abstract white floral, which could explain the "plastic" note that some people are detecting. I agree that this smells like a distant relative to Blanche Bette, which could have been the inspiration, but overall MS is a very original, high quality release. You will probably like this if you like Blanche Bette, Burberry Her (in the opaque light pink bottle), and Ode to Dullness. You will probably not like this if you are expecting the ice cream version of Yum Bougee Marshmallow that the notes list advertises. Performance is very good. This is going on my full bottle list."

Fragrantica - "To me this definitely feels feminine, and even though it has a slightly youthful vibe I think it’s suitable for women of pretty much all ages. I think this is most fitting for the spring and summer, but could be worn year round if you’d like. I think it’s best suited for casual occasions and work/school, but not really for anything fancy. I was hoping that with a name like Miami Shake that it might have a somewhat beachy feel to it like Vanilla Vibes does, but I don’t get anything that makes me think of Miami or the beach from this."

Fragrantica - "Not exactly what I was expecting. I don't get strawberry ice cream, but I do really like it. I'm not sure what I'm smelling. It's different than anything else I have."

Fragrantica - "Really like this! I get the strawberry and vanilla hit immediately then it mellows to a floral vanilla strawberry ice cream. It is gourmand but light and airy. It feels exactly like a JHAG take on gourmand. I feel like a lot of the disappointed reviews were probably expecting something thicker which is just not in line with the house. I doubt they will ever make a fragrance like the gourmand nature of a Kayali. They make lighter airy fragrances so you have to know that going in."
