Lancome La Vie est Belle Iris Absolu was released in 2023, composed by Anne Flipo and Dominique Ropion, as a flanker to the best-selling Lancome La Vie est Belle original. This is currently not available in the United States.
A floral fruity gourmand, it has notes of black currant, orange blossom, fig, jasmine, iris, gourmand and patchouli. Lancome La Vie est Belle Iris Absolu is an eau de parfum, edp.
Fragrantica - "This is a classy, subtle-but-present, slightly sweet irissy-waxy floral-gourmand. but it's barely greedy. there's not much similarity to the OG LVEB but if you're looking for it & sniffing close up it's there. I really like this. If you like iris scents and the idea of a less sweet LVEB minus patchouli appeals to you then give this a go. I think this smells like quality & effortless elegance. well done. "
Fragrantica - "I love what they did to this flanker, I think those who weren't fans of the original one, will definitely like this one much better. There is still this original perfume DNA but with a touch of iris note, which has this lipsticky feeling, not vintage at all, I would say totally modern. And it doesn't feel sickening sweet which I found the original sometimes to be. This one is great for sure, fbw in my opinion. Doesn't feel outdated, wears like a real high-end perfume with super great longevity and sillage!"
Fragrantica - "Wow! this is stunning!!! Almost niche-esque. The dominant lipsticky Iris only lasts about 20 mins and then it thickens up and becomes gently sweet. Woody base with wafts of jasmine Sambac. Iris moves to the back. This is gorgeous. This is lux!"
