L'Artisan Jatamansi was recently rereleased by L'Artisan and was available for a limited time on their website. It has since been discontinued. The original L'Eau de Jatamansi was launched in 2007 as L'Artisan's first completely natural fragrance. Jatamansi is the Sanskrit word for a Himalayan grass known as Himalayan Nard. The original L'Eau de Jatamansi was described as a woody fragrance with top notes of grapefruit, bergamot and aromatic herbs; middle notes of woody accords and rose petals (nard, rose and ylang-ylang); and base notes of saintwood, incense, sandalwood and papyrus. As far as I can tell this is the description for the rereleased version as well although I'm not sure if any changes were made when the fragrance was rereleased. This is the rereleased version (Jatamansi) not the original fragrance (L'Eau de Jatamansi). It is an eau de toilette, edt.
